1st graders have created a version of "The Golden Fish" by Paul Klee. They learned that Klee made the golden fish the most important part of the painting by placing it in the middle, making it big, and making it bright.
 I have constructed a bulletin board called "Featured Masterpiece". If you would like to learn a bit more about "Mona Lisa" and Leonardo da Vinci, then stop on by and have a look.

 The first week of school I had each student create a piece of art on a 3"x3" piece of paper. Some of the pieces had black paint on them. When the pieces were hung onto the bulletin board, they formed a hidden message!
